Back to the Big Apple for Big Blue?
Odell Beckham Jr. is nearing a return to the field after suffering an ACL injury in Super Bowl 56, and he has several suitors for his services, including the Bills, 49ers and maybe a reunion with the Rams.
Well, another reunion could be in the works, but with the team that drafted him. Giants GM Joe Schoen is leaving the door open and the light on for Beckham when the wideout is fully healthy.
Speaking with media on Tuesday, Schoen said that the team will speak with Beckham’s reps when the time is right.

“I had no idea he was in the building,” Schoen said Tuesday of Beckham’s recent visit to New York. “… Obviously he’s a guy we would consider and talk to when he’s healthy.”
Schoen would go on to speak in GM tongue, saying the team will consider any player that will help upgrade their roster. To that end, the Giants are deeply in need of wide receiver depth. The Giants had a quiet trade deadline, only shipping off 2021 first-round pick Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for a draft pick in the week leading up to the deadline.
As it stands, their wide receiver room consists of Darius Slayton, WanDale Robinson, David Sills, Kenny Golladay and Richie James. Hardly a who’s who of pass catchers.

Beckham spent the first five years of his career with the Giants before being shipped to the Browns prior to the 2019 season for a package of picks and players.
New York is off to a surprising 6-2 start heading into the midpoint of the season. Maybe a reunion with Beckham will help the Giants push for the playoffs.
