The Dolphins and Bears clash in Week 9 with their seasons moving in opposite directions.
Miami has won two games in a row to get back on track, while Chicago got blown out by Dallas last Sunday less than a week after demolishing the Patriots in New England.
For Miami, the return of Tua Tagovailoa has coincided with a big turnaround in results. The quarterback has been stellar this season, winning every game he’s played in full. The only time Miami has lost a game that he started this year was against the Bengals, when he was knocked out in the first half with a nasty concussion.
Tagovailoa’s return couldn’t have come at a better time. Just a few weeks ago, the Dolphins were reeling following three straight losses. Now, they’re back at 5-3 and right in the thick of the AFC playoff race. Especially after adding Bradley Chubb at the trade deadline, this is a dangerous team that could definitely make some noise.

The Bears have had plenty of ups and downs in 2022, but the downs have still generally outweighed the ups. They followed up a stunning blowout win over the Patriots in Week 7 with an equally demoralizing loss to the Cowboys in Week 8.
The Chicago defense looked lost trying to slow down Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard and the Dallas offense, giving up touchdowns on the first four possessions. Justin Fields rallied the team back into it with one of the better games of his young career (17 of 23, 211 total yards, 3 total TDs) but his efforts were in vain as the Bears ultimately fell to a 49-29 loss.
Will Tagovailoa and the Dolphins keep their momentum with another win? Or can Fields and the Bears pull off an upset to keep their playoff aspirations alive?
Here’s everything you need to know to watch Miami take on Chicago in Week 9.
